2011 in review
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,800 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 47 trips to carry that many people.
Graphing Inequalities
This worksheet is designed to help students start to graph inequalities before graphing them on a Cartesian coordinate plane.
Solving Systems of Equations (2 variables) Worksheets
This is a composite post that includes worksheets over solving systems of equations by graphing, the substitution method, and the elimination method. Ask your student to write a sentence when they finish each problem explaining what their solution means.
Solutions will be posted at a later date.

Plotting Points and Graphing Lines
This worksheet reviews the concepts of identifying points on a Cartesian coordinate plane as well as graphing lines by plugging points into a function and getting out their y value.
Solutions will be up at a later time.
Multiplication Squares (I – X)

Solving Equations by Factoring
This worksheet has students factoring equations and then writing the solutions to those equations.
Solutions will be up at a later date.
Factoring ax^2+bx+c Worksheet
This worksheet has students factoring trinomials with a leading coefficient other than 1.
Combining Like Terms
This worksheet helps students understand how to combine like terms, what terms and like terms are. I also talked to my student about where this would be useful in the future.
Evaluating Expressions Worksheet
This worksheet has students substitute numbers in for variables and evaluating the expression. One thing I would do is do some addition and subtraction examples first. I assumed my student knew what to do with a multiplication problem but that turned out to not be the case. Make sure students realize that I used different numbers to evaluate the expressions throughout the worksheet.
